Greater Noida: After Greater Noida, the Yamuna Authority Master Plan 2031 has been approved by the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB). After NCRPB’s clearance to the master plan, it was sent to the Uttar Pradesh government for its final approval. Yamuna Authority Master Plan 2031 is seen as a big achievement for authority.

Due to the delay in approval of Master Plan, Authority was unable to start development work in city. This obstacle has now been removed. The state government is likely to give its nod to master plan by the end of this month.

Yamuna Expressway Authority had prepared Master Plan 2031 in March this year and sent it to the government.

After removing of objections, the government had sent master plan to the NCR Planning Board. In May, NCRPB had sent the Master Plan back to the government citing some objections.

The government has directed the Yamuna Expressway Authority to amend the Master Plan in accordance with the NCR Planning Board. Following which, the authority had sent revised master plan to the government which referred it to NCRPB for approval in August.

According to official sources, NCRPB had formally approved the master plan fifteen days ago. After the state government’s approval, the master plan will be implemented.
