Gorakhpur: Breaching the international conventions, Nepal Police has been venturing into the Indian territory to arrest criminals wanted in the Himalayan Republic.

Indian officials became active only after the news of a man named Islam from Nautanwa area was picked by Nepal Police, earlier this month.

Indian authorities rose from deep slumber after Islam's wife registered a complaint in that regard.  Now all the vehicles entering Indian borders are being frisked thoroughly.

However, the Nepal Police revealed that Islam was nabbed in connection with Butwal bomb blast and he has been arrested in Nepal.

As per the Indo-Nepal treaty signed in 1962, both the countries have been consulting and helping each other in nabbing criminals wanted in each other's territory.
