Patna: The culturally rich state of Bihar will soon be able to organize national level art exhibition in the capital Patna after the inauguration of a new art gallery named ‘Kala Mangal’ by the Youth Affairs minister Dr Sukda Pandey.

Dr Pandey said, “It is a proud day for artists as well art lovers of Bihar that such an event was organised”. “No one can live without their art and culture”, she added. On the ocassion, Art, Culture & Youth Affairs Department Secretary Chanchal Kumar said that visual artists will get a good platform here to grow.

Popular artist Shyam Sharma said, “After a long wait the demand of visual artists has been fulfilled”. The event was presided over by the Joint Secretary of BAS, Dr Maheshwar Prasad Singh. On this occasion, Parvez Akhtar a theater artist and film critic Vinod Anupam were also present.

The exhibition which will showcase the works of noted artists like Anil Kumar Sinha, Rajat Ghosh, Ajay Choudhary, Vinod Kumar Gupta, Dinesh Divakar, Manoj Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Raju Kumar, Birendra Kumar Singh, Rakhi Kumari, Rashmi Singh, Ranjan Roy, Ramu Kumar and Dinesh Kumar will be held from 6th to 12th November.
