Fight for love, fight for honour, fight for #MohenjoDaro," the film's producers UTV Motion Pictures posted on Twitter alongside the picture of Hrithik and Pooja.
Hrithik also took to the micro-blogging site to give more insight about his character Sarman.
"They assumed he was naive cause he was simple and honest. Until he redefined love and honour in his fight for #MohenjoDaro," he wrote.
The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, also stars Kabir Bedi and Nitish Bharadwaj, who will play Hrithik's uncle in the film.
"Mohenjo Daro" is slated to release on August 12.
