Chennai: New Zealand on Tuesday expressed its desire to cooperate with Tamil Nadu in the areas of medicine and dairy development, among others.
     
This was conveyed to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa by New Zealand High Commissioner to India, Jan Henderson, during a meeting between them at the Secretariat in Chennai.
     
During her courtesy call, Henderson told Jayalalithaa that her country is interested in working with the state in medicine and long distance medical services, dairy development and education, a state government release.

L Ganesh, Chairman, Rane Group of Companies and Honorary Consul for New Zealand in Southern States, accompanied Henderson, the release added.
