    4 policemen injured in Naxal attack in Sukma district

    Four policemen were injured in an attack by Naxals, who first triggered a landmine blast and then opened fire at them in Sukma district in Bastar region during their 'Bharat Bandh' on Wednesday, police said.

    Four policemen injured in Naxal firing in Dantewada

    Even as efforts are on for the release of the kidnapped Sukma district collector, four police personnel were injured on Wednesday when a group of Maoists allegedly opened fire at a police van in the neighbouring Dantewada district. One of the injured is reported to be critical.

    Maoists demand clarifications before release of abducted Collector

    Maoists on Friday asked Chhattisgarh Government to clarify its stand on their demands for release of abducted Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon, and expressed their inability to extend the deadline without receiving a clarification in this regard.
