The Madhya Pradesh rights panel has sought an explanation from the state police chief about the circumstances under which a youth died after being stabbed while resisting attempts by eve-teasers to molest a girl in Indore.

Monsoon showers bring respite in Uttar Pradesh

Monsoon remained active in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday with eastern and western parts of the state receiving rainfall.
