According to the sources, the sketch holds much significance as it is the official design of the upcoming Fabia.

The design lines of Fabia are reminiscent of the new Octavia. The headlamps of the next-gen Skoda have been designed in a quite slimmer manner.

The grille of the new version of car differs from the earlier one and it has gone squarer. The new Fabia sports a lifted glass panel along with a pronounced shoulder crease.

The new model of the Skoda is wider by 90mm and it now sits 30mm lower than the outgoing version. The interiors have also been completely revamped.

The new Fabia will also benefit from company’s front-wheel drive, transverse engine, MQB platform.
As it had been in the past, the Fabia is likely to share its powertrain, infotainment and interior components with the Volkswagen Polo.

A 1.2 litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.4 litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine is expected to power the new Fabia when it is launched in markets abroad.

For now, Skoda is denying a vRS version of the upcoming Fabia, citing the fact that it has not proved out be a profitable prospect for the manufacturer in the past, as the demand has been anything but meek for the vRS.
