"Their discussions will focus on enhancing regional connectivity, economic prosperity, maritime security, and response to natural disasters," the State Department said in a statement on Tuesday.
Following her visit to Tokyo, Biswal will continue to Dhaka for her first bilateral visit to Bangladesh.     
"There, she will discuss shared global, regional, and bilateral priorities with Bangladeshi government, opposition, labor, and civil society leaders," the State Department said.
