Terrano, which is said to be based on Renault Duster, is available for pre-booking and is likely to be priced below Rs 10 lakh, according to media reports. The car will be available in both diesel and petrol engine variants.

The 1.6-litre petrol delivers 104PS of power and 145Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre K9K diesel will be offered with two different states of tunes - 85PS and 110PS. While the petrol and comparatively less powerful diesel motor would come along with a 5 speed manual transmission, the 110 PS diesel engine will have a 6 speed manual transmission.

It will be available in 5 trim levels – XE, XL, XL Plus, XV and XV Premium. Terrano will be available in 6 color shades- Pearl White, Sterling Grey, Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Saphire Black and Fire Red. The base-spec Terrano will feature a driver-side airbag, center locking and an engine immobilizer.
