Patna: Encouraged by Anna Hazare’s drive, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that there is an urgent need to take adequate steps to eradicate corruption at state and Central level.
Addressing the media persons after attending the Janta Darbar on Monday, he said that discussion over the ‘Right to Recall’ is necessary.

Nitish said, “I don’t think that people can bear corruption anymore. The kind of support Anna Hazare has received expresses very clearly that people are ready to raise their voices over corruption.”

“It’s a good sign for democracy. I had raised the issue to seal the property of corrupt public servants which got huge public support. After the formation of government, I have given top priority to this issue,” he added.

Speaking about ‘Right to Recall’, he also mentioned that it is an outcome of JP Movement and that it was provided to all the local bodies effectively.
