Patna: Taking exception to reports about undergraduate students of Patna Medical College and Hospital roughing up a senior faculty member and creating a ruckus in the campus, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ordered a probe into the incident, official sources said on Wednesday.

Kumar has ordered a thorough probe and registration of police case in connection with Tuesday’s incident, the sources said.

The medicos had gone on a rampage following information about the 2008 batch pre-final year result in which 40 out of 92 students were marked failed.
