Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday deferred the Seva Yatra to Bhojpur district in the wake of the situation arising out of the killing of Ranvir Sena chief Brahmeshwar Singh alias Mukhiyaji in the district last week.

"I have deferred my 'Seva Yatra' to Bhojpur district due to lack of administrative preparedness and on the suggestions of the senior officials the situation there was not appropriate for undertaking visit," Kumar told reporters.

Kumar undertakes 'Seva Yatra' to take stock of the implementation of development schemes in the districts. The Chief Minister said that he would undertake 'Seva Yatra' to Bhojpur district after monsoon season.
