New Delhi: On the occasion of Bihar Shatabdi celebrations scheduled to be held on March 18 in New Delhi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is slated to award 20 such people who have played a pivotal role in the development of the state.

Coordinator for Bihar Shatabdi Utsav Aayojan Samiti, Sanjay Jha, who is also an MLC said, “The event will be organised at Coronation Park, Delhi on March 18. This will be the first time when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will honour people who have contributed towards the growth of Bihar.”

Nitish Kumar will also address a rally of Biharis residing in the national Capital on the occasion.

Jha further said, “The Chief Minister has the potential to take Bihar to new heights. He  has also received many awards for his developmental works. The state has become a role model for others.”

However, the main celebration will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna between March 22-24 to mark hundred years of its emergence.
