"We have not yet taken any decision with regard to alliance in Andhra Pradesh," he said after his arrival here on a day-long visit.

The BJP and TDP have reportedly arrived at a broad consensus and are working for seat sharing for simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly.

Telangana, which is set to become a separate state on June 2, is going to polls on April 30 while elections in Seemandhra (residuary Andhra Pradesh) are scheduled on May 7.

In Telangana, BJP leaders are claiming credit for the passage of statehood bill in Parliament.

The party is also trying to win people's support in Seemandhra by claiming that it ensured a special package for the region.
