Ranchi: While five states failed to take home any gold medal in the 34th National Games, while the tiny North-Eastern Manipur lead the medals tally among the states with 118 medals.

Services were on top of the medals tally with 162 medals, which included 70 gold. They were followed by Manipur and Haryana, which won 48 and 42 gold medals, respectively. The biggest state, Uttar Pradesh, occupied ninth position among states.
Uttar Pradesh on 70 medals, including 20 gold. They were on the 10th position in the overall medals tally. Hosts Jharkhand won 96 medals, including 33 gold, and finished at fifth.

Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland along with Union Territory Chandigarh could not bag any gold.

Gujarat got the least number of medals - three silver and four bronze - while Arunachal Pradesh won one silver and 10 bronze. Bihar, too, did not perform very well. It won a total 12 medals, including just one gold.
