New Delhi: Despite the hike in prices of fuel and other commodities, South Delhi Municipal Corporation has rolled back the parking fee hike proposal.

Leader of the House, Subhash Arya said, “In the budget meet, the BJP has decided not to impose any burden on the residents of South Delhi by increasing parking charges.” The hiked charges will be rolled back. Property tax of small guest houses was cut down from 20 percent to 15 percent.

The BJP is preparing the budget keeping in mind the upcoming Delhi assembly election. SDMC on Friday has given final touches to the budget for 2013-2014.  

Subhash Arya got passed 21 proposals on amendment to raise the funds for the existing schemes. The higher authorities gave the green signal to the other 62 proposals.
