New Delhi: No leader from JD(U), a key ally of NDA, will be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi, slated for December 26. According to reports, all NDA Chief Ministers are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Modi but Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will skip the event.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is most likely to attend the oath taking ceremony. Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and the Chief Ministers of other NDA ruled states are most likely to attend the event. Senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and his counterpart in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj would also be seen attending the function. Shiv Sena executive president Udhav Thackeray has also been invited.

BJP strongman repeated his success story again in 2012 assembly polls by winning 115 seats and keeping the Congress at bay from returning to power. The Congress managed to bag only 61 seats.
