The LJP chief, who is a new ally of BJP in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), said that the leader's 'niyat' (intention) carries more conviction with the voters.
"Countrymen are convinced with the intention of the NDA," he said and claimed a ‘wave’ is blowing across the country in the favour of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Paswan's party has decided to issue constituency-specific separate manifestos for all seven seats in Bihar it is contesting in alliance with the BJP and the Rashtriya Lok
Samata Dal of Upendra Kushwaha.
Later, in a roadshow in favour of son Chirag Paswan at Sheikhpura which is part of Jamui (SC reserved) seat, the LJP President took potshots at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav saying that ‘the alliance of which he is a member is always headed for doom’.
Lalu’s former close aide Ram Kripal Yadav, who switched over to BJP after denial of ticket from Patliputra which was allocated to the ex-Bihar chief minister's daughter Misa Bharti, was present along with Paswan.
