Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday said in the state Legislative Assembly that the development projects undertaken by his government did not have political or electoral motivations behind them.
Replying to the discussion on the Governor's address, the Chief Minister also said there was no truth in any of the allegations made by the opposition. No incident of communal violence had been allowed by his government and none would be allowed to occur in future, he said.
The leader of the opposition, Ajay Singh (Congress) said there was no basis to the tall claims made by the government. A no-confidence motion would be brought in the monsoon session of the Assembly and during the discussion on it, the government would be exposed, he added.
