Banda: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and the BJP in-charge for Uttar Pradesh Uma Bharti maintained that the party would not truck along with any political outfit either before or after the state elections scheduled in 2012.

Raising doubts over the development projects carried out through the relief funds allocated to Bundelkhand region, she claimed if probed it may turn out to a major financial irregularity like the 2G Spectrum scam and CWG scam.

The belligerent BJP leader told media persons, “If the absence of development in the region, one fails to understand where the whopping amount allocated to Bundelkhand has been utilized.” She advised party members to visit each village of Bundelkhand to collect the information about various projects and their status.

During the meeting of the workers at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Bharti raised the issue of corruption. She said public is tired of such issues and now demands good governance.

Bharti said the caste equation will be demolished in upcoming UP Assembly elections and it will certainly benefit the party.

On the issue of separate Bundelkhand state, she said the BJP has always been favor of smaller states for good governance.

Talking on the movement by Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev, she said that everyone has the right to express their opinion in a democratic nation.

“People will certainly teach a befitting lesson to the UPA government on crushing Ramdev’s movement,” she added.
