Srinagar: Dismissing all reports about dissension between his National Conference and coalition partner Congress over the issue of rotational Chief Ministership, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah asserted on Saturday that there will be no mid-term change of guard in the state.

“To my understanding, the agreement between the Congress and National Conference was very clear on the issue of distributing portfolios. Apart from this, it was also decided that there would be no change in Chief Ministership at the half way point,” he said.

The CM was speaking to the reporters after participating in a seminar organized at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre by an educational institute for students taking competitive exams including civil service aspirants.

Downplaying questions over the recent war of words between the two parties and rotational Chief Ministership, Omar Abdullah said, “There is nothing like that. If someone has made any statement, it must be his own version.”
