Greater Noida: Dreams of many eyes would come true if the Allahabad High Court gives green signal to the agreement between Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and farmers of Patwadi village over the land acquisition issue when the petition comes up for hearing on August 17.

After the submission of the agreement copy signed by 530 farmers of the village last week in High Court, both the parties are now eagerly waiting for the court’s ruling over the deal.

Construction projects in NOIDA Extension came to a halt after the court ordered cancellation of all acquired lands here last month on July 19.

The court’s order over land acquisition issue had stoked anxiety and agitation all over Greater NOIDA over the last one month.

The ongoing construction projects at over 2, 500 plots, 400 group housing projects of GNIDA, six IT companies and educational institutes among others had suffered in Patwadi village after the Court’s ruling.

Some of the investors exuded confidence that the court will approve the deal.
