It is a single-SIM phone that supports only 2G network connectivity. Its alphanumeric keypad contains dust and splash-proof keymat, which the company claims remain intact despite of harsh usage.

The handset has got the capacity to store up to 500 contacts and also features 32-polyphonic ringtones. The device is powered by an 800mAh battery, which may deliver up to around 10 hours of talk time and 840 hours of standby time that sums-up to 35 days.

Nokia 106 is measured at 112.9 x 47.5 x 14.9 mm and weighs 74.2 gram.  FM radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, digital clock, calculator, flashlight, calendar, speaking clock, alarm clock, and reminder are the additional features that this device brings along. The phone is similar to Nokia 105 but contains a larger display.
