Talking about its design, this device appears to be a smaller edition of Lumia 1020. The phone exterior of this smartphone can be modified with five different colours- yellow, blue, red, white and black.

Its 5-megapixel is powerful enough to capture the best of details but the only thing it lacks is a flash light. The best thing about this device is that it has 1 GB RAM, which is double the RAM found in other budget Lumia phones.

The Lumia 525 is very much similar to other Lumia phones in terms of design, while it inherits all the other features from its processor Lumia 520.

The device comes with 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage and includes a 5-megapixel rear camera with no flash. The absence of front camera is still a major drawback with budget smartphones from Nokia and Lumia 525 lacks it too.

The smartphone is powered by Windows Phone 8 with the Lumia Black update. It includes a 4-inch WVGA (480x800) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 235ppi. The device is installed with a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It features 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expanded up to 64GB through a microSD card.
