According to sources, the Nokia X2 will be available in various colours - Glossy Black, Green, Orange, Dark Grey, White and Yellow. It will reportedly sport a translucent outer layer, reminiscent to the ones seen on Nokia's Asha range of handsets.

The smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 pixels) clear black LCD display with a scratch resistant glass and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302. It is also supported by 1GB RAM. The handset has 4GB of onboard storage expandable up to 32GB.

The device runs on Nokia X software platform 2.0 based on AOSP Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It comes with an upgraded camera features which consist of 5MP rear camera with LED flash and HD video recording along with a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter.
