“Eleven political parties, including Samajwadi Party (SP), will hold a meeting in Delhi on February 25 where they will decide their next course of action about formation of Third Front,” Karat told mediapersons at Jolla village near Muzaffarnagar on Thursday evening.
Alleging that corporate houses are creating an atmosphere for BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to win, Karat said the saffron party is not an alternative to Congress.
Karat also met riot victims camping in Jolla village and announced to construct Ekta colony to rehabilitate them.
The CPI-M leader, who laid the foundation stone for the project, said funds to the tune of Rs 54 lakh have been collected by his party workers for the building.
