New Delhi: Following the heavy rush of passengers ahead of summer vacations, the Indian Railway has announced to introduce two special trains - Ajmer to Haridwar and Allahabad to Udhampur here on Thursday.

The chief Public Relation Officer of Northern Railway, SK Sharma said, “The special Ajmer-Haridwar-Ajmer train (0940-09639) will run from every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 7.50 pm from April 2 till June 30. It will reach Haridwar at 10.45 am next day. The down train will play on Sunday, Monday, and Friday at 8.00 in the evening and will reach Ajmer at 9.40 on next morning. The train will run from April 3 to July 1.”

“The special Ajmer-Haridwar-Ajmer train, consist of one 3rd AC class coach, 6 sleeper class coach, and four general class coach. It will halt at the following stations—Kishangarh, Fulera Junction, Asalpur, Jobner, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, JPR, Dausa, Baandiquee Junction, Alwar, Rewari, and Old Delhi” he said.

Meanwhile, another Allahabad-Udhampur train will run from April 7 to June 30 on every Saturday. It will depart at 3.20 pm from Allahabad and will reach Udhampur at 3.20 pm next day.

“It will consist of One 3rd class AC, 11 sleepers, and three general coaches. The train will stop at Fatehpur, Kanpur, Itawa, Tundla, Aligarh, Khurja, Hapur, Merut, Saharanpur, Ambala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar cant, Chakki Bank, and Jammu Tawi” he said.
