Mumbai: Jiah Khan’s tragic suicide has inspired filmmaker Rikshit Matta to make a film on the subject.
According to the media reports, a movie ‘Bold Bollywood’ was announced at a five star hotel recently.

The film purportedly tells the story of three aspiring actresses who come to Mumbai to make their career in Bollywood . Actors like Hazel Keech, Sandeepa Dhar, Shweta Bharadwaj, Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi are said to be in key roles in the film.

Rikshit Matta who makes his debut as a director with ‘Bold Bollywood’ said, “Media reports surrounding the sad death of Jiah Khan, the heartbreak and the subsequent loss shook me to the core. Success in Bollywood is elusive and there are a lot of pitfalls. My film is a sincere attempt to expose the underbelly of Bollywood.”

The film is being produced by Shabana Hashmi. Speaking on this, the producer said, “We want to bring forth the dark side of the glamour world. Even for our future projects, we want to take up subjects with a message that bring about awareness in the society,” Hashmi said.
