Lucknow: Days after former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh returned to the saffron fold by announcing the merger of his RJP with the BJP on Monday, the conflict over distribution of plum posts in the party organization have reportedly come to fore.

According to the sources, the pressure exerted by Kalyan Singh to fetch respectable positions for his supporters at the state, division and district level committees has left the BJP in tizzy.

Rajbir Singh, the RJP chief and son of Kalyan Singh, had handed over the list of aspirants to BJP state president Laxmikant Vajpayee to accommodate them.

According to the sources, Rajbir Singh will be made RS MP and accommodated in the national team.

It will be interesting to see the how office bearers of both the parties will make coordination and that too when Rajnath Singh has become new BJP president. Rajnath Singh, once Kalyan Singh's arch rival within the party, had welcomed him back and saying that the latter was "a better Chief Minister" than him.
