New Delhi: In a major blow to anti-graft crusader Arvind Kejriwal’s political foray, Kumar Vishwash, Hindi Poet and a noted sepoy of war against corruption, has left Team Kejriwal. Vishwas has said that he would continue to support Kejriwal’s political moves from outside, but would not join his party.

Earlier, after outlining his political party’s principles and goals, Kejriwal on Tuesday said that people are fed up of corruption and they are craving to witness a radical change in it. Explaining the circumstances which forced him to go political, Kejriwal said that despite all efforts to get a strong and effective anti-graft law, the government remained insensitive and unresponsive.

“Government’s adamant attitude forced me to launch a political party. It is a great day for the people of the country,” said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal wore a Gandhi cap on which it was written- ‘I am a common man and I want Janlokpal.’

Earlier in the day, Arvind Kejriwal announce the formation of a new political party.

His key associate Manish Sisodia said that its name will be announced on November 26.

"The movement which fought for a Jan Lokpal will now contest elections," Sisodia said.

Kejriwal also said that he will disconnect the electricity supply of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit as part of a protest against the recent hike in power tariff.

"People should not pay electricity bills if government disconnects anyone's electricity, we will reconnect it. I am ready to go to jail. We will not just gherao (lay siege to) chief minister's (Sheila Dikshit) residence, but will disconnect her electricity," Kejriwal said.

He threatened to hold a protest on Thursday if the state government did not announce a rollback of the electricity tariff  hike.

"They must roll back the hike before Nov 3, or we will protest again on Nov 4 and gherao Sheila Dikshit's house," Kejriwal said on Tuesday.

He also said he would disclose corruption cases against some leading political figures Oct 6.Kejriwal said both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were working in tandem.

"They work in tandem, there is no opposition in the country. We are the opposition."He said the name of his political party will be announced Nov 26.
