Ambala: Anti-corruption awareness campaign initiated by the State Vigilance Bureau ended on Friday. The motive of the campaign was to make people aware that complaints against officials taking bribe could now be filed through a phone call.

During the campaign, students were urged to extend their cooperation in ending corruption prevalent in schools. They were also asked to bring matters related to corruption immediately to the notice of the vigilance department.

Street plays creating awareness against corruption were also organized at Sunda, Mokha Majra, Dhurkada, Dharala and Saranga. Meanwhile, vigilance inspector Rajendra Singh said that in case any person files a complaint against any officer, his\her name and address will be kept secret. Complaint can also be filed via phone or message.
