Noida: In an effort to bring Noida  –Ghaziabd on the Metro map DMRC(Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ) has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of proposed sector 62 route to the Noida Authority.

The report details about the timing of extending lines , proposed number of stations , total length of the track including its height from the surface and total costs to be incurred upon the project.
Noida Authority has sent the DPR to its concerned department for further study.

“There will be six stations on the route extending from City Centre to Sector 62 near Ghaziabad, Said Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority. New stations will come up at Noida Sector 34,52 ,61,59  and 62.

This Metro route will be completely elevated and is expected to draw good traffic.

DMRC will be running trains which will have eight coaches each and the total length of the extended route will be 6.67 kms.

The new route will incur an investment of Rs 105 crore and is expected to be completed by 2016.
