Bhubaneswar: Odisha cabinet has approved the supplementary budget for the year 2012-13 which will be presented in the state assembly on November 29.
    
Finance Minister Prasanna Acharya would table the supplementary budget barely two days after commencement of the state assembly's winter session on November 27. The cabinet meeting presided by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the supplementary budget on Wednesday night.
     
The size of the supplementary budget was about Rs 3,900 crore for the 2012-13 fiscal, less than the previous year's supplementary budget amounting Rs 4724.62, sources said.
     
They said the size of the supplementary budget was reduced in view of the less spending by different departments.
