Rajouri: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday came with all guns blazing against his ally Congress saying he is bound by coalition compulsion otherwise he can also say a lot.

“If I free my ministers and leaders to give any type of statements, it would hamper coalition dharma,” Omar said when asked about state Congress chief Saifuddin Soz’s statement on the implementation of 73rd and 74th constitutional amendments to Panchyati Raj Act claiming National Conference is not in favour of it.

Flaying Saifuddin, Omar further added that as a Chairman of Coordination Committee it would have been better for him if he had talked to state Panchayati Raj Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar who is also member of the same committee regarding the amendment to the Act before making such statements.

He further informed the media about the possible amendment to the resettlement policy of the state government which can have “positive” impact.

Omar also said that block level polls in the state would be conducted soon in which elected Panchas and Sarpanchs would participate.
