Gwalior: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s image as the party with difference seems to be withering in the Gwalior as several leaders appear in a rebellious mood after their omission from the various committees of the party.

The disgruntled leaders met in the marriage garden of Thathi area to discuss their future course of action. The meeting was attended by those leaders who have been barred from the organizational posts for the last one year.

These leaders are the supporters of former district president Abhay Chaudhary and Devesh Sharma. They held important posts in the previous working committee. New district president Ved Prakash Sharma has not given them any posts in the party committee.

Lashing out at the district leadership, annoyed party members said, “We have been intentionally omitted from party committees so that a certain section of members can dominate the proceedings.”

They claimed to raise the issue before state leadership. Simultaneously, the annoyed members threatened that the party would pay the price if they were ignored for a long period.
