Indore: Swine flu claimed one more life at a private hospital, raising the death toll due to H1N1 virus to nine since May this year in Indore, an official said on Thursday.

Pawan Patel (32), died at Bombay Hospital on Wednesday night,  a medical and health department official said.

Patel, who hailed from Ashok Garden in Bhopal, was admitted to the hospital on September 21, where he was confirmed H1N1 positive on October 4, the official told.
Four other serious swine flu patients are still being treated at private hospitals here, he said.

Out of 133 swab samples tested for swine flu, 37 were found positive, and 96 negative, in the current spell of the viral disease in Indore division since May this year.
