Speaking to a leading tech site, Carl Pei, director, OnePlus Global, revealed that the 64GB variant of the smartphone is likely to be priced under Rs 25,000.

OnePlus One sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 401ppi and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

OnePlus was founded on December 17, 2013 with its headquartered in Shenzhen. OnePlus's first product, the OnePlus One, was announced on 23 April 2014 at the prices of USD 299 and USD 349 for the 16 GB and 64 GB models respectively.

The OnePlus One runs a custom version of CyanogenMod, named 11S, based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat initially, then upgradable to 4.4.4 KitKat over-the-air.

OnePlus One will have a fierce competiotion with Xiaomi Mi4, another Chinese smartphone company as both of them have good hardware from reputed vendors and attractive price.
