Buyers will be able to purchase it from the online shopping portal-- which will exclusively inaugurate the open sale of the OnePlus One smartphone in India starting 10am IST starting this Tuesday.  

The company announced the news on Facebook. Previously invites were distributed online through social media and through the customers who buy OnePlus One smartphone. But now customers can directly buy the device online without an invite.

The smartphone will be available in two variants, and the customers can purchase both the 16GB Silk White and 64GB Sandstone Black on the open Tuesday global sales. Not to forget that except on open Tuesday's customers will have to go through the invite method to purchase the OnePlus One smartphone. And the customers who will buy the smartphone on open Tuesday's will get invites to distribute it further.

OnePlus One comes with top-of-the-line hardware specifications, including a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch (1080P display), 13MP rear camera with F2.0 aperture and Sony image sensor, 5MP front camera, 3100mAh battery to make the device run all day, 4G-support and and NFC. It features CyanogenMod 11S, a custom aftermarket version of Android developed by Cyanogen.

Reportedly, on February 12 the company will announce its own Android version and a build of the OS based on Android's latest version, Lollipop. The OS will be bloatware-free and will carry features essential to users. And no additional features will be added Google's Material Design.

Physical stations will be installed that will help users flash their existing OnePlus One with the OS. Online instructions will be issued for the users who prefer to flash their devices on their own.
