The Chinese company has announced its move in a blog post and has decided to bring the invitation-only One smartphone to India.  

Xiaomi has already has created a niche for itself in the tech mart right from the launch of its first smartphone Mi 3 for the country.

The big Chinese smartphone brands are gearing up for the big Indian market. Following the trend the OnePlus One brings exactly what we know Chinese smartphones to be.

OnePlus One for the 16GB model will be available for Rs 18,000 and the 64GB variant will cost Rs 21,500. OnePlus One however is only available through an invite system.

The OP One comes with a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 401ppi. It features a Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the same adaptive backlight technology.

The device is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz with Adreno 330 GPU and comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone features 13-MP rear IMX214 sensor with a six-lens array and f/2.0 aperture that boasts quick shutter speed of only 0.3-seconds. It also comes with a 5-MP front-facing camera. The phone does not come with microSD slot but comes with an internal memory of 16 or 64 GB.

OP One features a customized version of CyanogenMod ROM called CM 11S. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Its connectivity feature comprise of 4G LTE (region dependent), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC functionality. It adorns a 3100mAh non-removable battery as well.
