Bhopal: Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh has issued directions to all Vice-Chancellors of state universities and Principals of degree colleges on the semester examination system.

Evaluation centres would be set up by all leading colleges at the district level. The universities will appoint auditors at all centres and evaluation of marks would be done under the guidance of Headmasters. For 2012-12 session, colleges will also conduct online entrance tests.

Commissioner Higher Education has also directed all colleges to follow semester system for private students instead on the annual mode for examination. For private students, examination should be conducted for hundred marks whereas for regular students 15 percent marks would be evaluated on their internal assessments.

Universities and colleges were also directed to adopt the management system and all latest technologies for announcing the entrance test results for 2012-13 session. They have been also asked to follow one examination schedule which would be issued during the study peroid.
