The opening ceremony of the 14th edition of Mumbai International Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films, which is popularly known as MIFF will be telecast live on DD Bharti from  from 04:30 pm onwards on January 28th. The ceremony will also be telecast on the DD National channel.

The six-day event is scheduled to screen a total of 285 films. The biennial event will feature 30 films in the International segment, including 12 from India, and 27 films in National segment which will be competing for the Golden Conch Award.

Touted as the cultural heritage of India, DD Bharti channel has created a niche as the cultural television channel of Doordarshan. Since its beginning in 2002, the channel has made its way to the audiences heart.

A one stop solution to whet the cinematic appetite, DD Bharti is available on channel number five on DD Free Dish platform, channel number 161 on Tata Sky platform, channel number 674 on Videocon platform, channel number 326 on Sun Direct platform, channel number 826 on Dish TV platform, channel number 140 on Airtel Digital platform and channel number 149 on Den Digital platform.
