New Delhi: Both the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday witnessed huge pandemonium over the issue of poor law and order situation in the states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Maharashtra.

As the proceedings in both the Houses start, BSP, Congress and AIADMK MPs started to raise questions on law and order issue. Raising the issue of killing of DSP, Zia-ul-Haq, BSP members demanded that the President’s Rule be imposed in Uttar Pradesh. They alleged that there is ‘Jungalraj’ in Uttar Pradesh.

Congress MPs from Punjab made slogans against Parkash Singh Badal-led SAD-BJP government over the police atrocity against a woman and her father in the state. Holding the newspaper copies in their hands, Congress members Partap Singh Bajwa, Ravneet Singh and Santosh Chaudhary stormed the Well.

Several Rajya Sabha MPs from Bihar expressed concerns over MNS workers’ violent campaigns against the Hindi speaking people, while LS MPs from Tamil Nadu raised the issue of alleged atrocity against Tamils in Sri Lanka. Left Front members also raised the issue of poor law and order situation in West Bengal.

It’s being assumed that the Parliament will run smoothly on Wednesday. However, the main Opposition BJP is likely to disrupt the Houses over the CAG report on alleged irregularities in farmers’ loan waiver, the game changer of UPA-I.
