The flagship product will also be launched in Vietnam on January 21. The camera-focused smartphone is the member of the F-series, smartphones focusing on sleek and luxurious designs coupled with premium cameras was first unveiled at CES 2016.

The Oppo F1 can now be pre-ordered in vietnam for VND 6,490,000 (About Rs. 19370) while the first devices will be rolling out on January 21. Indian consumers will have to wait for an official announcement from Oppo to when the device will available for pre-order.

Following are the specifications of the product:

  • Oppo F1 smartphone sports an aluminium body that is only 7.25mm thick.
  • It comes equipped with a 5-inch IPS display protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels resolution with a pixel density of 294.
  • The smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor which clocks at 1.7GHz and an Adreno 405 GPU.
  • Oppo F1 will run on ColorOS 2.1 (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop) and 3GB RAM.

  •  It will also have Dual-SIM functionality that offers support for Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM.
  • Oppo F1 will house 6GB in-built memory (expandable upto 128GB) along with a 2500mAh battery.
  • The camera is apparently where it really shines, offering a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and single LED flash coupled with a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture (1/4" sensor).
  • The display is also bright enough that it can double as the flash in low-light environments.
