New Delhi: Keeping in view the expected mass support to the Satyagraha by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev against the black money stashed abroad, preparations here are in full swing for the protest scheduled from June 4.
While lakhs of people are expected to participate in the Satyagraha across the nation, more than one lakh people are expected to turn up at Jantar Mantar and Ramleela Maidan, the two likely venues for the Satyagraha in the national capital.

Despite no official confirmation from the organisers about the venue and the schedule of the programme, the large scale preparations makes it evident that huge number of people are expected to turn up for the Satyagraha in Delhi alone.

People involved in the Bharat Swabhiman Movement are of the view that Delhi would witness such a large scale movement for the first time.

Those involved in the preparations say that while Satyagraha would be held at Jantar Mantar, the participants would only practice yoga at the Ramleela Maidan.

Bharat Swabhiman Movement general secretary Yograj Balkrishna informed that Ashtanga Yoga would be practiced from 5am to 7am.

Replying to a question as to what would the participants do through the day after the yoga session in the morning, Balkrishna said, “People would observe fast, but that would be on their wish.”
“As a part of the Satyagraha, Baba Ramdev would not even take milk and fruits from June 4. He would only have water,” he added.

Refusing to confirm the exact number of people expected to participate in the Satyagraha, Balkrishna said picture would be clear by June 2.
“We have the support of over 10 crore people and through the miss call system and we have already got the confirmation of 38 lakh people,” he added.
