In recent past, the BSE, Odisha has started offering Orissa HSC Result 2016 on online platforms to facilitate easy dissemination of result data without any delay or problems. To this end, the board has made extensive preparations not only on their own website but have also issued special instructions to partner websites to provide details of the result checking process.

This year, a record 6, 01,348 students are awaiting the announcement of Odisha Matric Result 2016. The Odisha Class 10 Board Exam 2016 started on 22nd February with Sanskruta Vyakarana ‘O’ Darshan paper and concluded on 4th March with English paper. After the successful completion of board exam, the BSE, Odisha began the task of evaluating the students’ answer sheets with help of nearly 16,000 teachers and evaluators from March 11 onwards. According to the BSE President Dakshya Prasad Nanda, the process of answer sheet evaluation was completed on March 24. Further elaborating on the process of bringing out the BSE Odisha Result 2016, the board president also stated that a new system for marks tabulation was adopted this year. This new system is handled by a third-party private organization and likely to reduce instances or errors in the Odisha 10th Result 2016 provided to the students.

Looking at the increased number of registered students, the board is expecting higher competitiveness and in turn better success ratio among the students. In 2015, the Odisha Board Result for Class 10 students were announced on 6th May; in which the fate of 5,49,374 students was announced. Of this number, a record 82.56% candidates managed to clear the examination, which roughly translates to 4,51,959 students. In terms of district wise performance, Balasore recorded the highest pass percentage of 91.58 while Baragarh was found at the bottom of that list.
