New Delhi: Amid nationwide protests against Delhi gang rape, the owner of the bus has been detained in which 23-year-old para-medical student was brutally assaulted and raped by six men on December 16. Dinesh Yadav, owner of Yadav Travels, has been detained a day before Delhi Police will file chargesheet in the case.

The Delhi Police in its 1000 page chargesheet has cited 30 witnesses in connection with December 16 incident in which physiotherapy student was gang-raped and brutally assaulted. The braveheart died in Singapore hospital on December 29.

The chargesheet, to be filed in the Saket court, will detail the role of five men while mentioning that a separate report would be sent to Juvenile Justice Board for the trial of the minor boy allegedly involved in the case, the official said. All the accused are booked under serious charges of murder, rape and destruction of evidences.

Earlier, police on Tuesday filed a case of cheating against Dinesh Yadav who allegedly submitted a false affidavit about his residential address to get the bus registered with the Transport Authority.
