Peshawar: Six suspected militants were killed in the North Waziristan tribal region of Pakistan, after US drones targeted their vehicles.

Hours after another group of rebels escaped unharmed during a missile strike by an unmanned spy plane.

The drones fired four missiles at two vehicles at Eissa village near Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan Agency, on Sunday evening.

Both vehicles were destroyed, officials said.    

Drones fired four missiles at a vehicle in Azam Warsak village of South Waziristan Agency.

Six suspected foreign militants, who were in the vehicle, escaped unhurt. The vehicle was destroyed, officials said.
