Mumbai: Pakistan born British actress Sofia Hayat dared to do which many wouldn't even attempt as she got a temporary tattoo of the World Cup trophy on her back for supporting Indian Cricket Team in the ongoing mega Cricket event.

The actress said that she is impressed with the Indian team's performance in the opening games of the tournament and hopes that they win the cup.

"I am showing my love and support for Team India by getting my back painted and my hair stylist will make Paul the octopus with my hair. Jai Hind!" said Hayat.

"I wish India wins this World Cup as I love India. Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, M S Dhoni, Zaheer Khan and Suresh Raina are great players. They should win," said Hayat.

Sofia, also a singer and model, is in India to shoot for director Vinod Mukhia's women-oriented drama Diary of a Butterfly.

She gave her wishes to Indian Cricket team to win this ‘World Cup 2011’ and that’s why had had got a tattoo of world cup on her bare back with the strong message from her to Indian Cricket team ‘Jeet Lo India’. Further she had also made her hair style to the famous ‘Paul – The Octopus’ look, so that destiny supports Indian Cricket team.

She also expresses her feelings to media that she is showing her love and support for the Indian cricket team by getting world cup logo painted on her bare back and that’s why her hair stylist, Shiva, had made the ‘Paul – The Octupus’ look. At the do she was looking sumptuous in her blue designer sari with a bold front split and a dropping neckline.

Sofia is in India to shoot for Vinod Mukhia's Diary Of A Butterfly, a woman-oriented film. She was given her unique sort of looks and hair style by the stylist Shiva for a promoitional event in Mumbai on Wednesday.
