Kaleemullah who set a new trend two years back when he was signed up as a professional to play in the Kyrgyzstan soccer league, has been one of Pakistan footballs brightest star in the last two years.
The former Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) striker scored 18 goals to lead FC Dordoi to Kyrgyz League crown while adding four more goals as the Bishkek giants claimed the Kyrgyz Super Cup.

He also won the best player of the year award in the Kyrgyzstan soccer league and was paid ten million Pakistan rupees for a two-year extension to his contract last year. Kaleemullah who hails from the small town of Chaman in the troubled Baluchistan province said in a message he was humbled to be signed on for the US league.

"I am extremely humbled by the opportunity that has been given to me and my own game has improved by playing in the US. I am a quick learner and I have learnt a lot about American style of play so I am sure I will be in a stronger position to play well for my new team," he said.
